The Happiest Place on Earth

Something that makes me happy is obviously the happiest place on earth. . . . . . . DISNEYLAND!

The last time I went was with my 2nd family in April of last year. I want to go back soooooo bad. I love disneyland. I have only been there 3 times but it is great. I hopefully am going in October :)

I'm kind of a freak and I took a picture of a picture at Jake's house. Isn't he so cute :))

Now he's all growed up and a hottie.

This picture was taken the first day me and Jake ever met. We had been texting for three days over spring break and we were both in Zion's with our families. On the last night we were there, I asked him what hotel they were staying at....and it ended up being the same one we were at! I asked him if he would come over later so we could finally meet haha. When the time came, he was taking forever cuz he said he "lost his room key" which he really was just nervous. I was happy when he decided to come over. And I'm glad he did. I fell in love with him so fast. And I still love him so much more than I did when we first started dating. In April, it will be 2 years :) I sure love my jake.



Nicknames

I think the nickname that has stuck the most is Gaygay. My cousin Coley came up with it when I was just a wee girl in elementary school. I really don't even know how she came up with it, but it has definatley stuck. Her two little boys don't even know my real name! People at work even call me that.

Crushes

Needless to say I have many celebrity crushes. Most of them from band that I go to. Whenever Jake and I go to concerts, he always tries to guess which one I think is the cutest. So I will post my top 3 musically talented celebrity crush. Which probably a lot of you do not know.

1. Evan Pharmakis

Evan will always be my number one (next to Jake Evans). He plays guitar and sings for Vanna. At the last show, I got to give him a hug, he called me a sweetheart. And gave me his guitar pick before he gave anyone else one. His voice is simply amazing. I could listen to Vanna constantly just to listen to him.

2. Kyle Pavone

Kyle is the lead singer for We Came As Romans. When I first heard them, I couldn't stand the music at all. But then I fell in love. The very first time I saw them live, I didn't like the music, but Kyle was very attractive. His voice is almost at gorgeous as Evan's. Jake says he has a pancake face :/ i disagree.

3. Tyler "Telle" Smith

Tyler is the lead singer for the band The Word Alive. Their music is so amazing and lyrics are so meaningful.  If you haven't listened to them, go listen to them now. I have seen The Word Alive only twice. They couldn't make it in February and I should be seeing them this April. I love Telle's voice. It's so amazing. Anyone could fall in love with it. When I saw them at Warped Tour, me and Jake were front row :) and he was standing over me and I got to squeeze his bum :)

Chris Motionless: Lead singer of Motionless in White. Fabulous band.

 I have lots of different kinds of music on my iPod. I absolutely love music. I love going to concerts. Not necessarily main stream music concerts. They are too big for me. I like smaller venues with better musicians. At the Greeley Estates concert, I got kneed in the face by the singer. It was the best thing that ever happened to me at a concert.

Family

Me, Andrew, Cole, Abby and Cass in Disneyland 2007. Me, Cass, and Andrew look like a bunch of freaks. I'm glad we don't look like that anymore! These are all of my siblings minus Ali. Cole and Cass are just my step siblings but I don't think of them that way at all. I love them just as much as Andrew and Abs. I would do anything for my siblings. I know we fight. A lot. But I still care about them so much. I'm glad that I have them in my life to hang out with and just be with all the time.

Scars

I don't really have a lot of scars because I don't really like to do things where it's possible to get a scar. I guess my two worse ones are my belly button ring scar and one I got from shaving. The belly button one is just really hard and gross. Its probably one of the ugliest scars ever. The one I got from shaving is really bad. I was just in the shower, ya know, shaving my legs, and I got cut. It was really bad. It wouldn't stop bleeding for hours

Its on my right calf and its really long and gross. That about all the scars I have except for little baby ones.

Jim Morrison

{Write a letter to a deceased person}

Now this won't technically be a letter, but I have been on this Jim Morrison kick lately. I bought his poetry and his biography this past week and can't wait for a chance to just sit and read them. I seriously wish I could've seen this talented man live.

I remember my dad listening to The Doors when I was little. I loved them. I remember him watching videos of Jim and Pamela and he would say, "I know he just got sick of the fame and his hiding in the mountains." I would like to believe that is true. 

I would give anything to go back and be able to see The Doors live. I know that it would've been amazing. Just from watching The Doors movie he seemed so intense.

I don't believe that he died of a heart attack. They didn't even do an autopsy. I truly believe it was from doing too many drugs. If I could talk to anyone who is dead, it would most definatley have to be Jim Morrison.

Music

HAPPY: I really listen to lots of songs when I'm happy so this is difficult. I guess it would probably have to be whatever I'm in the mood for! I really like listening to music when I'm happy. I like listening to songs that remind me of Jake when I'm happy.

HYPER: I song that I like to listen to when I'm hyper would most likely be an Eminem song. One of the psycho songs. Or a song on rockband when I'm with Jake and Andrew :)

SAD: My sad song is easy. It has been my depression song for almost two years now. I love listening to it when I'm sad. I have a playlist that I specifically listen to when I'm depressed. But my alltime depression song is Chemistry of a Car Crash by Shiny Toy Guns

BORED:  Again, just whatever I am in the mood to listen to. I just have random playlists I listen to when I want to listen to music. I'm pretty bored right now and I'm listening to Josephine Collective

MAD: My current mad song is a tie between Eminem's "Sing for the Moment" and From First to Last's "Elvis said Ambition is a Dream with a V8 Engine." They are both great songs.

You've been the best example to me

The people that have made the biggest impact in my life are of course my parents. It sounds cliche and almost everyone says it. But it is so true. I might have not had the best childhood in the world, but my parents still did the best they could and how they lived and what they taught me helped me become the person I am today.

My dad with his three kids. My dad hasn't always been there for me like I thought he should. We've always had our fights and differences, but he is still my dad and is awesome. I don't see him or talk to him as much as I wish we would.  When I was going through my rebel stage, he knocked some sense into my head and helped me learn what I was doing wrong. My dad is so much fun to hang out with. He always has funny things to say. He is the best dad ever and I love him so much.

My mom has been so great to me. She is my mom, but she is also my friend. I can talk to her about anything and everything. She is always there for me even when we are both grumpy butts. When I complain about things she does, Jake just says, "you do that too." She is the best mom I could ever ask for.

I've only have had Brett for a stepdad a little over five years. But he is amazing. I didn't like him at first, cuz I didn't want him to try and replace my dad, and I regret that. He is so amazing. He would do anything for me, Andrew, and Abby. He has taught me so many great life lessons and helped me with so many things I don't know what I would do without him.

Harry Potter

Day 005: Your favorite villain/superhero

If you know me at all you know that I'm obsessed with Harry Potter. My aunt Amylynn made me read in when I was in 3rd grade and I have loved it ever since. So of course my favorite villains and superheros come from that.

My favorite bad guy of course is Voldemort. If you know me, you probably know that I find him very attractive. Just look at that nose, and the teeth! He has always been one of my favorite characters in the books and I love what they have done with him in the movies. He looks great. I can't wait to see the 2nd half of the 7th book this summer!

My favorite "superhero" is most definitely Severus Snape. When I was little and Coley was still in high school, we were on this kick that snape was a vampire. We went and bought tons of sticky notes and highlighters and read through the books over and over marking little clues. It turns out we were wrong and he was a good guy! I also find Snape very attractive. Not the actor, but his personality and voice.

San Fran

Day 5 is a picture of somewhere you have been. My favorite place that I have ever been would have to be San Fransisco. I absolutley loved it there. My mom and Brett suprised me for graduation and took me there. We got to see Wicked, go to Alcatraz, see the Golden Gate bridge and do lots of other really cool things. I would go back right now if I had the chance.

 My hair was so short an blonde! It was so windy in San Fran. Especially when you were close to the ocean.

Me and mommy at the best show ever. WICKED :) It was serioulsy so amazing. I have read the book and I love the music. I was so so excited when I found out we were going there. Mom and Brett loved it too and we are going again in May. It'll be awesome.

I love to see the temple

I had such a great day at church today. I absoultely love teaching my primary kids. They are cute and say the smartest things. I love my religion more than anything in this world. It makes me who I am.

I have always wanted to be married in the Salt Lake City temple. It just looks like a castle. It's so beautiful. I I know that someday I'll be sealed to my family for time and all eternity. It's always been my goal and I won't settle for less.

Friends

Day three asks for a picture of you and friends.

These were the good old days when everyone was together. ALWAYS. We had so many crazy adventures and had something new to do everyday. It's kind of sad that none of us hang out anymore. We all grew into different  people and have wanted different lives. This is one of my favorite pictures of our group.

Day 2

So... day number 2 asks for your favorite movie. And honestly, I don't think I have one. I'm also more into t.v. shows anyways. I love love love watching t.v. shows. Only on dvd though. I'll list my top three. In order of course.

                         1. Grey's Anatomy

Who could resist this face? When I first heard about Grey's Anatomy, I called it "Gay's Anatomy" becasue I DID NOT want to watch it. My cousins Coley and Jen were addicted and begged me to watch it. So of course, I caved. I love it so much. I started on the beginning of season three and I have watched every season. I own them all on dvd and watch them frequently. There are some very attractive people in this show, great soundtrack, and great quotes.

2. One Tree Hill

My number two pick is one tree hill, I will usually just say OTH. My friend Bridget got me into this one. Its such a teenager show. But it is so good. Me and Bridget used to skip school just so we could watch this. We were kinda freaks. We would have "glom" parties and just watch hours and hours of it. I also own all of these seasons and watch them all the time. Every character is attractive. It also has some of the best music.

3. Weeds

Okay, so I just started watching Weeds about two weeks ago and I've banged out all the seasons that are out. I am so impatient. The last season had a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next season to come out this month! I wish I would have started watching this earlier.

Day 1

I decided to get myself into the blogging habbit, I'm going to do a blog challenge. That way I can start writing things more. I hope I remember to keep on top of it!

Day#1: Your Favorite Song
                                               My favorite song would have to be Safe to Say by Vanna. Since that is the    name of by blog. It is the very first song that got me into hardcore music. I absoulutely love it. Jake showed to me within the first month of us dating. I didn't like it at first but I learned to love it. I like to think of it as mine and Jake's song. Even though he doesn't know it. I have seen Vanna live twice. Two times they cancelled though. I can't even describe how amazing it is to be right there while they are playing.
